M2M Magazine Awards Top 100 Recognition to DPAC Technologies
Quatech’s DPAC again selected as a top-ranked machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions provider

Hudson, OH, April 3, 2008 – Quatech Inc. today announced that DPAC Technologies Corp.(DPAC.OB), a pioneer in developing embedded wireless device networking for machine-to-machine communications, has again been chosen by M2M Magazine for inclusion in its annual M2M 100 listing of the industry’s leading technology providers.  DPAC merged with  Quatech, Inc. in 2006 and together the combined company offers one of the industry’s most complete lines of device networking and connectivity solutions.  The company’s embedded wireless networking products provide remote data collection and control and are used by major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the transportation, instrumentation and industrial control, homeland security, medical equipment, and logistics markets.

Widely regarded as a list of the most important and influential companies comprising the machine-to-machine market, the M2M 100 is compiled annually by the magazine’s editors and editorial advisory board.  Companies were selected based on their performance against criteria such as strength of business model, product portfolio, momentum, and business growth.

“We are honored to be recognized once again by M2M Magazine as an innovative leader in the machine-to-machine market space,” said Steve Runkel, CEO of Quatech.  “Companies that historically have not been familiar with network enabling devices are becoming increasingly aware of their bottom line benefits.   Quatech provides the industry’s most comprehensive line of embedded 802.11 wireless products, and our device networking and connectivity solutions are viewed as key network enablers by leading companies in the rapidly growing M2M market.   We are pleased to accept this year’s award.  We will continue working to meet and exceed our customers’ networking requirements through technology advancements and superior customer service.”
